Web Check-In (WCI) is a new feature on AirJamaica.com that will enable you to reduce the length of time spent in airport queues. It is now being offered for revenue passengers:
Features
You may use the facility to:

Check-in.
-
Select a seat.
-
Enter APIS (Advanced Passenger Information System) information i.e. full name, passport number, country of issue and expiry date, nationality/citizenship, date of birth, etc.

Print check-in confirmation.
Information Required
Before starting Web Check-In please have the following available:

First and Last Names of all passengers.

Reservation Record Locator.
-
Passport and any other relevant travel documents.

Emergency Contact information.
Checking In
To begin the check-in process you will be required to enter the full First and Last Names of all passengers, Departure City, Record Locator or Flight Number and Day of Departure. The information entered must match the reservation record exactly.
Please ensure your printer is in working order to print your check-in confirmation at the end of the process. If, for whatever reason, you are unable to print, you may print the boarding pass later at the airport by seeing an Air Jamaica agent at the specially marked Web Check-In Counter.
At the Airport
After checking in, you should proceed to the specially marked Web Check-In counter at the airport if you have baggage to check and for the relevant verification, baggage and security checks to be carried out. If you have no bags to be checked, then proceed directly to the boarding gate area, here document verification will be carried out prior to boarding.All passengers with bags to be checked are required to be at the counter a minimum of 1½ hours prior to scheduled departure. International passengers with no checked bags are required to be at the gate area a minimum of 1 hour prior to scheduled departure and passengers flying solely within Jamaica with no checked bags are required to be at the Web Check-In counter a minimum of 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure for verification.
Restrictions
Web Check-In will not be available for:

Unaccompanied minors (children under age 15 years travelling alone) or special service need passengers e.g. passengers requiring wheelchair assistance or Oxygen.

Travel on interline flights i.e. non Air Jamaica – Air Jamaica connections.

Changes and cancellations. Customers must contact an Air Jamaica Agent (via telephone or at the airport) to cancel check-in or to make changes to flight(s) or seat assignment.

Standby listing on flights. This must be done at airport.
Please note: Failure to arrive at the specified time will result in the reassignment of your seat, the cancellation of your reservation and/or ineligibility for denied boarding compensation. For cancellations or changes before departure, please send requests via email to webcheckin@airjamaica.com . You may also contact an Air Jamaica Representative at 1-800-523-5585 (outside Jamaica), 1-888-359-2475 (from Jamaica) or at the Check-In Counter at the airport.

Air Jamaica is not liable for such and requires that you arrive at the airport two and a half hours before the flight in order to be checked in at the counter
